A loving, safe, and high-quality bilingual program where children learn through play. SPARK 5-Stars | Preschool Promise | ERDC accepted.
My name is Roxana Hoyle, director and owner of Roxy’s Preschool and Daycare. I am an Early Childhood Education teacher with more than 38 years of experience working with young children and their families. After graduating in Peru and working many years in early education in the United States, in 2011 I opened Roxy’s Preschool and Daycare with the purpose of offering a safe, loving, high-quality environment for preschool-age children.
Our bilingual English/Spanish program has 5 Stars under SPARK and participates in Preschool Promise. We also work with private families and families receiving support from the ERDC program. At Roxy’s Preschool and Daycare we believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships. We focus on the social, emotional, physical, and academic development of each child, always respecting their individuality, culture, and learning pace.
We are proud to work in collaboration with families and to create an inclusive community where all children are welcomed, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
At Roxy’s Preschool and Daycare we focus on children developing happily in a healthy environment, where they learn through play under our loving, safe, and respectful care.
In our bilingual English/Spanish program we believe that children learn through play. We encourage and facilitate child-directed exploration, respecting each child’s unique identity and family.
Daily activities, transitions, and routines are carefully planned to promote children’s holistic development. Our program includes math, science, nutrition, literacy, reading and writing in English and Spanish, physical activity, logical thinking, and problem-solving. These experiences are based on the Creative Curriculum and the Second Step social-emotional curriculum.
We use ASQ and TS GOLD assessments to monitor each child’s developmental progress. Additionally, we hold quarterly conferences with families to set goals and support their children’s individual growth.
We welcome families from all cultures and countries. We value parent participation and encourage them to share their traditions and experiences to enrich our preschool program.
Our doors are open to children with disabilities and diverse needs. Our training and experience allow us to provide appropriate support and help families find the necessary resources for their children.
Full immersion in both languages, preparing children for a multicultural world.
Creative Curriculum and Second Step: children explore, create, and solve problems.
ASQ & TS GOLD tracking, quarterly parent-teacher conferences.
Welcoming children of all abilities; we help families find resources.
